Why the need for multiple accounts?
 

I'm a new seller on Amazon. Just been browsing the forums here and one thing I don't understand is why is it so important to have multiple accounts? I understand if you get suspended but is it still necessary if I follow Amazon seller policies and maintain good metrics?

Its all about spreading the risk

You can also really increase your exposure

what i learned from selling for last 7 years on both ebay and then amazon is that the big companies dont give a flying flaming rats behind about their sellers just their customers. they can suspend you for anything...

plus amazon sponsored ads cycle your ads on given pages if you are using multipe campaigns selling the same item category(variation listings). a new account means more facetime for your ads.
