Has anyone ever updated their name on their amazon account? What happened?

Kind of curious about this one too. I have a stealth account, obviously under an alias, but I was wondering what would happen too. The account in question has decent sales and will eventually warrant a 1099 going to my EIN.

You are free to upgrade such info but you can run into a document request.

They may ask for passport / utility among other forms of identification

I would not recommend it. Things like that could bring up red flags with amazon.

If you have documents to compliment the name change, it should be fine if they request documents.

Legally changing ones name and/or getting married.

For the first one, I guess you would probably need to provide supporting docs

For the second one, at some point, you would probably lose half of your wealth

Any other acceptable reason?

You would, but if you have them, then you should be fine.

Lol, I wouldn't know. The last gf I had ran off and got married in a week to a tow truck driver and she makes over 100K so she pays his bills. Sometimes you gain a lot of wealth in a marriage =). I always try to date successful women so they don't leech off of me, lol.
