Amazon 15K Limit - Not accepting documents
 

Hello All,

My personal amazon seller account was banned around 5-6 years ago.

I am now a director of a business and wanted to use amazon to sell my products. I created a seller account with legit business details, however, I used stealth personal details.

Everything was fine and the account has been running perfectly. I have recently hit the 15k limit and Amazon have asked for more details. The business details (genuine) have passed perfectly, however, the primary contact person information (stealth) has not been accepted. They are now asking for the documents to be submitted again.

What can I do???

You have to provide them with what they are requesting and hope for the best.

They are asking for identity, proof of address and bank statement.

If I submit the docs again surely they will just fail... I don't understand why they are failing unless they are doing background checks. Has anyone previously passed the 15k limit before with a stealth account????

They are getting more strict by the day.

I had one account and the verification team passed it over to another department to check the docs so it looks like they are doing more now

How do u know they passed to different department? Seems these days AZ very strict

Someone from the Amazon health team normally emails you to assist you with verification. When I messaged him to ask why it's taking so long to verify the documents he said the verification team has transferred it to another department

Maybe they checking with the document issuing authority not looking good

so what happens when you get to 15k? I have the documents but it sounds like people are having trouble getting past the 15k limit.

is this the case for everyone now? 15k and the account is toast?

You have to provide them with the docs. UK Verification has been extremely strict for the last few months. Hope it goes well...

Does Amazon UK verify the docs? Will the gov and bank cooperate with Amazon? I assume it is forbidden by privacy laws?

Amazon has their own methods of verifying .But its not based off access to any government resources.For example the utr is a mathematical code ,its not just a bunch of random numbers.If you know the equation which im sure amazon does,then you can tell if its a real code or not.There are certain things amazon looks for on id's the same way a club bouncer does to tell if its ⊗⊗⊗⊗.Ect...Its about learning what amazon will accept,once you learn what they are looking for then its easy to get verified.

As a lawyer I doubt that any government in Europe will give any information that is not publicly available, to private enterprises like Amazon, just so they can reconfirm the information given to them by the individual in question. The same goes for banks.

However, AMZ might have other methods to reconfirm the info given to them. Why asking the government when you only need to check the info thats publicly available?

My legit account I just got back I noticed a huge increase in hoops to jump through since I last did this 6 months ago on another account.

People have mentioned being passed to other departments. This happened with me. I had my invoices verified and they then asked for other stuff.

The person responded and said although the other thing has now been verified, the invoices have been checked by another 'verification team' and that they are not acceptable after all. They asked to resend totally new ones.

Interesting times for amazon for sure
