I recently created an AMZ UK account and they requested doc straight away. I sent them and now the account is verified.

During this peak season Amazon are a lot stricter and it may be that they will request documents for all new accounts from now or just through this season.

Stealth or not the only way is to provide Amazon with what they are asking for and hope for the best.

If your serious about selling you will have to provide documents at the 15k limit anyway so sending them now isn't that different.

I too just recently had a UK Amazon store pass verification but the pass rate these days is going lower and lower.

Its most likely due to the high selling season and hopefully security drops down a bit starting in 2018.
