Simple Multiple Account Question
 

Hi Everyone,
Have a simple question regarding 2 Amazon accounts:

Will you get linked if one account has an ein and the other has a SS# for tax identity when both accounts are using the same name? Everything else, (computer, internet, cc, phone, etc.) are all different and both accounts are old and established.

If using same name yes they can easily get linked... Sharing any same information will link accounts. Pretty standard

if there is anything important in the stealth RPG that should be safeguarded is your true name. if youre going to use it, make sure it never gets tainted. So use side chick accounts , but never get that ish get to the main chick account.

Did a search earlier with no results, did another search with different keywords and found this thread. Hopefully this process has not changed:

It makes no difference. Amazon does not link based on names. There are many John Smiths out there, and even if your name is complicated, there are still chances that there are more than one of you out there, so Amazon does NOT link based on name alone. SS, address, account #, CC, those are the things you should really worry about... (I've had accounts under the same name, with SS on one and EIN on the other, address within the same city, without any linking problems. More than once.)

To be safe though, use your stealth name, it works.

Agree 100% alekov but you must sign with the same name you created the account in though.

I always wondered that because, it is possible to have more than one Bob Smith in the world. And, if someone moves, how can they permanently ban that address? Someone new can move there and open a new account and be a totally different family.

Someone COULD. But what are the odds that person starts selling on Amazon right after moving on an account with no prior history (i.e. no buying activity) and that they sell similar products as well?
