Adding Authorized User for Acct Management ?
 

Has anyone added a authorized user to their Amazon Account for Management ? Any problem ?

Why would you have a problem? Give more information on who you are wanting to add, is there any chance of the account you want to add getting linked to another account?

Correct, the person we're adding has a buyer account(no seller). They will also being accessing the account (the authorized user) from a IP address from a different country.

Our account has been running for about 1yr (no problems) however, would this extra activity cause problems? would the chance of possible link cause problem(our seller to their buyer) ?

I mean, as long as that individual is clean of bans/links to other accounts I dont see why this would be the case. Large companies will have employee accounts across the world, I dont see why it would be an issue.

You can never play it too safe. I rather over analyze and be safe than lackadaisical and risk losing the account.

You're correct, many accounts do this. I don't believe a authorized user is treated the same as an actual user/account holder.

As far as I know the authorized user doesn't need an amazon account at all. So I'd just make a gmail for your authorized user and add him. This way he won*t be linked. Hoevery, AMZ might ask questions after you added the user. Like why the user logs in from another country. To play it safe and if you trust your user, I'd just give him my username and pass and have him use a VPN (location no more than 50 miles away from where you usually log in).

I decided on both, personal vpn and new email. Never play it too safe :thumb:
