New account prompted a Seller Identity Verification. Was there a misstep in my stealth process, or is this becoming the norm ?

Indeed, I dont sell on Amazon but I buy frequently with prepaid cards and the hassle they cause is just a joke. You can tell they are tightening up, they have the budget for it as well.

I'm still not clear on this and haven't seen an answer in the guide or forums. I just opened an account and immediately had my selling privileges removed. They want to see a utility bill and business license. It is an individual account, not a business account, so not sure why they are asking about a business license. I don't know if "I am just an individual and I don't have a business license" will take care of that part or not, but what about the utility bill?

You may get away with sliding the business request, as for the utility bill there is no magic password you can say to avoid it. You fabricate a pre-existing template to suit your stealth accounts.

I dont understand why people dont prepare documents first, it should be the first thing you do..

Cool. Me personally, it wasn't the first thing that I did because the guide never mentions it and it's not discussed much in the forums. But I have now ran into the issue, so I'm asking about it.

Any-who, what is the normal procedure for business license, since it;s apparently requested or every account? Jut to make a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one of those, too?

What Id have they been asking for? Drivers license? Is this upon setup now?

All wasted time in my opinion .Amazon is a lost cause for small fish to sell. They want bigger company's so they can screw them over big time and take there connections that is what they do... Amazon wants to be the only retailer in existence!!!!!!

so once you are fully verified by amazon after account creation, you don't have to take it slowly? meaning you can sell any quantity?

It's stealth, so it's never cool to run wide open. The smaller amount of sales per account will always keep you more under the radar

Nothing changes as far as stealth procedure goes, it's just more of a pain.

You still have to get feedback, add tracking, etc, or you'll get rolling reserves and/or suspended.
