Limited access to Amazon Selling Services - Pending verification!
 

Good day everyone!

Recently I received an email from Amazon saying as follow!

They want me to Upload:
1) Proof of a Document issued by HMRC to ''Bussines name!
2) Proof of Bank Account ownership!

I cannot provide those documents above because first of all I don't have the UTR hmrc letter and all this years I have sold under ''as Individual'' not in any Business name also it will link me with all my previews year sales without declaring it. Unless I submit a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ document but don't know what it looks like and where to find one so I can modified.

They also holding my £79 money balance!
Question! Does anyone know where can I get an ⊗⊗⊗⊗ UTR hmrc letter and How long they keep your money in the balance?...also if I fail to provide the documents they require what happen then?

You can apply to HMRC to get issues with a UTR number you can then use that if you want to on the Amazon account and change the Amazon account to a sole prop account (just keep all the stealth details as stealth details assuming it is a stealth account!)

Thanks for your input but registering with hmrc will give them more reason to chase you about the business nature and tax self assessment to much headache. I've done that once 3 years ago and end it up paying a penalty for not doing the self assessment in time.

I forgot what it looks like this ''Document issued by HMRC'' Can somebody direct me where to get a dummy form to fill it out without registering with hmrc?

After I sent a bunch of documents with BS ID the dreadful email has just arrived:

Your account has failed our verification process. As a result, you can no longer sell on any of Amazon’s European marketplaces. This decision is final and not subject to appeal.

You can access your Seller Central account for the next 40 days. After this time, you will not have access to Seller Central, including your financial reports.

Is been a privilege to sell on Amazon, but they have gone nuts this days, oh well!!!

Too many verifications after another... and in of those verification stages you will definitely fail like I did. :mod: You might succeed with real documents I guess but then the tax man will be after you. :mod:

I've had no issues getting my accounts verified recently

Although its much harder now days than it was a few months ago.

If amazon changes, you have to adapt to the changes and learn the new methods.

The type of bank account you should be using now plays a much larger role than before. For example, business bank accounts tend to have a higher pass rate than personal accounts... among several other things.

I would have open a new account if I was selling something legit all the time but the product I was sellling was in high Profile computer software! So it only take one person to complain then you might be forced to shut down! Amazon this days has become very hard to deal with, and all this EU non sense regulation. I hope after we leave the EU things might change in our fav but is yet to be seeing!

You should be paying taxes regardless really

RE Amazon there are often 2 verifications

1 - Just after the account is opened and a card is added. This doesn't happen all the time but it will do now and then. In this instance you don't need to add a bank account in order to processed. What they ask for from you can vary from account to account

2 - The 15k limit. This will always be required but 99% of the time you will not hit the 15k mark before its required. Its typically between the 5k and the 10k mark that this is requested but it can be later as well as sooner

Point No.2 is bang on, i recently got hit with the 15k verification when the account was on 7k.

Walk away from the account for just 72E. Not even worth the hassle. Dont get attached to any account. Will cause you stress and grief for no reason. Dont ship out any orders. Just walk away

Who in the US approves these requests, Seller Performance or another team?
