Please! Need help with start of Amazon and Virtual Machine
 

Hi guys,

I need help for a change.

I want to change my set up to Virtual Machine.

I have watched many youtube videos and many searches on VMware on here and google and now my mind is twisted.

I have 3 laptops. 2 of laptops are used for ebay they have windows 10 home. 1laptop has nothing on it yet, but its running windows 8, which sucks. I have a key to windows 10, but don't know if I need to upgrade or somehow go to windows 7.

I would like to run a virtual machines on all 3 laptops.

I would like to start with the laptop that has windows 8, as I cant do much damage to my accounts.

1. Should I upgrade change Windows 8 ? How do I upgrade? I don't have install, but have code.

2. What is recommended virtual machine?

I think this is where I need to start.

1. you need to download the windows 10 software, you will then be prompted to insert a license key.

2. We use VMware for our accounts, it just works and its easy to use, no messing about.

While setting up multiple instances of VMware for Amz on a laptop, what considerations, if any, should be given to the following while setting up each VM?

1. Disabling webrtc
2. Changing DNS settings
3. VMware network connection settings: Should they be in Bridged mode?
4. To ensure a VPN connection doesn't leak your real ip address due to a dropped connection, will changing the settings in the firewall suffice or are there addittional precautions that could be taken to prevent IP leakeage?
5. should different amounts of ram be allocated to each Virtual machine to change up each VM?
6. should screen resolution be different in each VM?
7. Disabling flash?

Any other settngs to change during setup?

For each VM I will be:

1. Using different versions of operating systems
2. Different browsers
3. Different plugins
4. Different VPNs and dongles
