Amz US AVS address verification - Is this used by Amz US?

Do we know if Amazon US are using the AVS system to verify the door number and zip code of the debit card when registering a new seller account?

Yes, Amazon uses AVS to check at a minimum zip code.

Buyer accounts seem to use AVS

Seller accounts don't seem to use AVS

The zip is verified, at most. I don't KNOW that it is, but I know that nothing else is verified
