Default Strange - Inauthentic Complaint but still have buybox

A buyer complained they received a XXXX product and mentioned the word XXXX in their email communication.
After further enquiries, they emailed again to apologise and explained they had jumped the gun and made an error when the product was actually genuine.

3 days later we received an email from the friendly team at SP demanding that we:
" Provide Copies of invoices or receipts from our supplier issued in the last 365 days .. we removed your listings etc"

This was 7 days ago, the product has not been removed, it is still showing as active in our inventory and we also have the buybox.

This leads me to believe that it was flagged by a bot but someone in SP realised the buyers error and cancelled the listing removal but didn't go as far as cancelling the bot's automated email.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Never seen that happen before. Why not play it safe and provide invoices anyway?

I'd rather not rock the boat. If they don't block the listing and I can continue to sell it - Im fine with that.

By sending invoices, I may well just end up causing a shixstorm by alerting them to it, then if the invoices aren't accepted, they'll block the listing.

They normally blocked after 7 days if you don't send them invoices this will get blocked

Your information is incorrect, In the above scenario, listings are blocked by the time you receive their insidious email.

It's been 12 days and I haven't sent them anything - Listing still active so all looks good.

Be careful, sometimes they wait a long time. We had an account that had an invoice request for inauthentic complaint on 1 listing and we told them we would send invoices and then didn't respond. 2 months later they blocked the entire account and we lost it. You may get away with it, but you may not.
