Vmware + Amz - Copying text and files between multiple Amz VM's and the host

Vmware Virtual Machines + Amz
I want to enable Drag/drop and copy/paste in the guest isolation settings for each VM so I can copy files and addresses from each of the VM's to paste into the printer software installed on the host.

Is this likely to result in the VM's sharing more info than we would like and leave the accounts vulnerable to linking?

Anyone doing this without issue?

What you can do is the following:
1st, Enable drive sharing on your VMware
2nd, Create a text file or any kind of file on your host machine
3rd, Access the document from your VMWare that's on your host machine

File sharing is no issue, you can move files freely between virtual machines / host

This is interesting, I didn't know you could do that. Although using the words "VM" and "sharing" in the same sentence goes against my instincts. I guess it could be handy if causes no vulnerabilities for stealth.

Now I'm just thinking how I could use this feature when you can drag and drop anyway ...

Drag and drop does work but I tend to access specific files that get updated and its just easier to be able to access those files via the sharing function.

You can install VMware tools and then activate copy and paste between the host and guest. Much easier than setting up file sharing, especially if you have guests that run win xp (at least in my experience). Also it will automatically add your host machines printer, you can (if you wanted to) print directly from your vm.

Copy and pasting between VM's shouldn't be an issue fuer AMZ... They are not gods who can look into whatever you do on your computer :) Not even the MAC address is visible to them (grabs Popcorn)

Quick video on how to do that.
