VM and local hardware linkage

If one was to use a VM for a second account, I see one potential achilles heel.

Would the local hardware also not be revealed on the VM? We are aware computer hardware is a fingerprint Amazon uses for linking and from my understanding VM would reveal this.

Is this not so?

Local Hardware CAN'T be revealed on the VM.....simple as that.

Re: VM and local hardware linkage

Ill only be using a single account. Is there a way to mask my local hardware just like vmware does? How is vmware about to mask the local hardware? This is new to me.

I do very extensive product research on Amazon which is very time consuming and taxing with literally 75+ browsers tabbed on Amazon so I require LOTS of resources. I dont think vmware would be fast enough for me and it would dig in to my time.

Instead of buying a new computer, to what extent must I alter my local hardware to mask potential linkage? Different ram, GPU, CPU, MOBO, browser, OS.. What would be enough? Would a new OS and browser be viable, although the same hardware and resolution?

Specs:

Q6600 @ 3.0 ghz
12gb DDR2 @ 800 Mhz
120gb SSD
Win 7 64 bit

Very little to zero background processes.

Re: VM and local hardware linkage

Websites do not and cannot link your physical hardware, even if you're not using VMware.

End of story.

When you are on VM there is no way that any website leave apart Amazon can view your Local hardware info through a browser since VM masks Local System
