Does a ship from address matter?

This may be more of a question for UPS instead.

Would a ship from address for inbound FBA shipments matter?

For example, if my Stealth account is in a different city and I do all my FBA inbound ship from in a different city, would this matter? I would think it would not because people do this a lot on the road.

Conversely, I still need to schedule pick ups from UPS and Im thinking of creative ways to play this safely. I dont know if UPS tracking linked pick up addresses with Amazons system.

My idea was to schedule pick ups from a neighboring apartment building address in the same complex as me (buildings are 75 feet apart) and put a note for the driver my real address. I've developed a relationship with the drivers so this could be doable.

What are your thoughts?

Having UPS pick up packages at your house is not going to link your Amazon account. That's a ludicrous idea. I really don't think that the return address on a label could matter, but I don't know the first thing about FBA

If you're doing enough volume I suggest the following:

Get a PO box at a UPS store or something similar.

Use that as your return address.

Get a UPS account (or fedex account - their rates on Amazon are cheaper) and set up a regular pickup through your personal UPS (fedex) account. It's probably less than $20/week.

I was doing pick ups through the UPS pick up site, they offer free pick ups for Amazon packages so I never paid a dime. Im assuming this would be the same thing as using an account?

For returns I can easily ship to my local post office (the post ladies there know me well).

What I could do is set the ship from as this local post office so FBA wont have any incriminating information.

My original reason for opening this thread was if scheduling UPS pickups could in anyway reveal this pickup address (my real address which is suspended) to Amazon and link my suspended account.

Im sure Amazon tracks inbound FBA shipments and communicates with the UPS API and there may be extra parameters in there that would reveal the pick up address. My thinking here isnt crazy and you'd imagine UPS stores this pickup information for shipment tracking and is very well available in their API and to their biggest partner Amazon.
