I have asked this question in the past and at this point, it feels like I'm beating a dead horse, but I just need clarification especially with all of the new security measurements that Amazon has come out with as I have not started a new account due to the numerous security changes taking place within Amazon
Please feel free to list anything I am missing as my question is more so related to address and phone number information.
Okay so the things needed to start a new Amazon account would be:
1) An LLC, and using the new EIN # from LLC for tax info
2)New bank account info under LLC/EIN # or a bank account that hasn't been associated with a previous Amazon account
2a)Use the credit/debit card associated with the bank account for Amazon account
How much should I have in this account/on this card for my account to not be compromised/be put under a review, etc? Suggestions needed please
3)New phone number
Is Google voice applicable anymore, I was reading that they recycle old numbers as I am aware that if you are inactive for 9 months with your Google voice account you lose your google voice phone #, please clarify on this as I need to know my options and don't need it to be associated with someone else's blocked account
4)Different computer (one that has never been associated with an Amazon account)
4a) VMPlayer after about a week of setting up this new account as I have read that you need to get their "Welcome to Amazon.com Seller blah blah" email as that is essentially passing their first verification
5)Either spoof the mac address on my router or use a new router that has never been associated with Amazon for zero detection
6)New email address
7)New address or P.O. box associated with a mail carrier for no link between old accounts/makes things smoother if account does go down for some reason
8)Drivers Licence #
9)Bank Statement?
<--Not so sure on this one, please clarify if they do need and what exactly do they need from this
I know Amazon also does a security measure where they now text your phone number as Elmo posted back in May, thus why I asked the question in red about the phone number and what would be the best option (Google Voice, throw away phone? etc.)
As well as does Amazon make you provide a photocopy of your driver's license or do you simply just need the number inputted?? And same with the bank statements, do they really check for that now (seems a bit too personal for them to want that information but if I'm using their platform I'll abide by providing that info)
What do they need specifically with this? A name associated with said account, or do they want to see specific transactions? It's just weird and extensive, to say the least...
Finally, does the name on your bank statements need to match the name associated with your LLC, EIN?
I know some banks won't let you open an account using an alias and others don't care as long as the social security # & photo ID is there to tie you to the account, so please clarify this information for me in detail if possible Sorry for asking so many questions, I just don't want to start up a new account and have it immediately go under without knowing exactly why/what I did wrong, as I don't want to have the headache of starting from scratch all over again.
