How Do Amazon Link Buyer Accounts?
 

Hi Guys,

I sell on eBay.co.uk (Stealth accounts) and dropship from Amazon.co.uk. I've been doing it for a couple years and have never had a problem, however recently my gift card supplier gave me a 'bad' gift card, resulting in one of my Amazon accounts being closed for being 'linked to an account that violated their terms and conditions'.
In itself, this isn't a massive issue, but despite my Amazon accounts being separated by different user accounts and VPNs, some Amazon accounts are also being linked and closed.

The accounts all have different IPs and different user accounts with Firefox Portable, so don't link cookies either, so the only thing I can think of that may be linking them is ordering the same items to the same address with the same credit card (As if an account is closed, we'll re-order the active orders that were on that account on a new account).
I have quite a few other Amazon accounts that haven't been linked, which also use the same credit card and billing address to process orders, but don't order the same items to the same addresses from closed accounts. These accounts have a pretty large amount of gift credit on them, so I'm a little bit worried about them getting linked as well.
Do you guys reckon my same address & same item linking hypothesis is correct, or can you think of any other way that they're being linked?

I am also wondering this, from my research if the account gets banned instantly after some action its because of an algorithm. However, if the account gets suspended after some time, a Manuel review is done by a "specialist" and therefor bans the account.

The same way they link seller accounts. Why would you think otherwise?

The OP clearly mentioned why he asked, There are other factors in place such as "where" you ship your items. I think theirs other reasons specifically dedicated to a buyer account.

Thank you. I already purchased and read amazon ghost and ebay stealth. Actually I have lost almost 30k on amazon giftcards so far. And I am still testing to see what bans and what doesnt. This has been very costly for me and I am getting drained. Do you have any advice to operate 100 amazon buyer accounts?

Losing 30k on Amazon gcs...what are you trying to do? Dropship? Buying too many GCs on Amazon is problematic - AZ notoriously cracks down on those kind of accounts

It was accross 3-6 accounts. What happened, due the pandemic, amazon is shipping items 30 days late. So we didnt notice that the items didnt get shipped out, so for a couple of weeks we added giftcards, bought the item and repeat. After one day we got suspended, and bam all the pending orders cancelled with the gift card balances.


Usually items would ship in 2 days so risk was low.. but the pandemic made me aware of how little I diversified. I paused my business and now, looking into creating mass amount of accounts and rotate them every 30 days. Ideally, use 3-5 accounts per day, then wait a month to let items ship, and continue with rotation system.

Already tried doing this, set up 50 amazon accounts on 1 server, and did 5 servers. 10k just disappeared... All linked and banned. I was looking for a quick fix to get my business back but realized this is a bigger problem then I thought.

Any help would be appreciated. Already my team and I are doing deep research on finger printing and canvas finger printing, but I feel as if their are people who have already done it and can give me a hand so I don't lose anymore. Seriously on the verge of bank bankruptcy haha.
