amazon review after opening account?
 

I just open a amazon individual account and 30 minute later i was suspended from amazon. I did not lit anything yet, they asked for:

Please provide the following documents and confirm there is a valid credit card on file:

--Utility bill with name and address visible
--Business license, if applicable
--If you have active listings, include copies of invoices, receipts, contracts or delivery orders from your supplier issued in the last 90 days.


Did i messed up somewhere or it just a standard procedure from Amazon now?

it's like normal way when i create amazon accounts. different info, name, email, everything.

But recently when i tried to use a new bank for creating accounts, 2 of my accounts with that bank got review after 30 mins after i done creating those accounts.

Is Amazon black list the bank so that it automatically review when adding to the account? I bank with Sun Rise Banks, National Association

It's due to the recent increase in amazon security

Happens every year around this time due to the approaching high selling season

Yes its standard, ID and bank statement also very common after these documents are submitted.

Reviews can be same day or delayed if they're busy.

That one has been around since Feb/March.

Its only been increased in requests seen as of this month. All accounts now require it

how do i send the docs if i'm an individual who only want to sell his used stuffs at home.... ?

Provide them with what they are requesting...

If you don't have what they are requesting, complaining on the Amazon seller forums is your best bet. Hopefully they change their minds about the requirements for people like you in the future.

My new account has been under review more than one month, no any reply.

Nothing will happen unless you provide them with what they are requesting.

I have an account that requested docs immediately. It has been over 2 months since I submitted docs. I have sent them twice and sent follow up emails a bunch of times. I've never gotten a single response from them. The account still sits there suspended. Normal?

Yes normal if they do not like your documents or you're missing a document

It will be another disappointing holiday season for sellers. Amazon will pull there usual stunts and hold millions of funds from sellers and or block and remove acct's while holding funds making them a s*h*i*t load of money all the while as the seller bats his or her head trying to get their funds released and or ripped off from amazon's 2 buck an hour Pakistani workers. good luck

Lol Dont listen to the verified merchants like Fox.Their job is to get sales on this platform ,so they feed half truths in order to give newbies doubts.There is nothing unusual about the utility bill request,its actually easier to bypass then the ID and Bank statement when upgrading to pro.I usually get this done inless then 24 hours.Inside tip (The business license is optional)Hense the reason the say If applicable,They will pass you along with out it.

Actually... I never get asked for these docs, even with the high security this time of year. Yes it happens more often, but not if you do it right, you will never get it. Oh and I do not sell Amazon accounts on here, so you might want to revise that part about "half truths", just a suggestion.

I call BS.And yes I still call half truths on this website from verified sellers like you,you guys love making issues seem worst then they are.It helps to convert newbies into sales.Even when you get this review ,you guys are well aware that its not hard to deal with.So why not just tell the OP this from the start?Answer is the more relevant a Verified seller makes themselves on post like these ,the more likely they convert sales.The simple thing to tell the Op would of been "Upload a utility bill ,get creative with the address and match it with the info on his amazon"Typically 24 hours amazon reinstates your account.Thread over after that.

if there requesting document verification, and you just leave the account until after the holiday season. Will they still be requesting the documents?

ok is there a good way to resolve this issue, because I encountered this problem.
By the way OP, did you create this seller account with the gift card or the real one?
I am not good with photoshop, is there cheap way to get this utility bill and as I understand they want picture of the actual credit card or not?

I opened account yesterday, uploaded bank statement and ID and was approved within 1hr....

He used a real ID.Being approved within a hour or 2 is normal if your docs look legit or is legit.Amazon is not going by any gov data bases ,they simply go by the quality of the docs you submit.
By now amazon has a data base of their own to compare all gov ids too,so if you submit som half fast looking id that dont match up look wise to what they have on file ,they will not pass you.
There are easy ways around this ,but yall not getting it from me.
