Efficiently removing old FBA SKU stickers for new stealth account

Is the consensus making sure to remove all old FBA stickers from book inventory on a stealth account before adding this inventory to a new stealth account instead of just placing a new sticker on top of it in case the new sticker were to come off and reveal the old SKU?

The stickers I have on are a pain-in-the-ass to remove and take away effiency, some stickers can take up to 30 seconds to properly remove as they do not easily peel off!

Assuming my 2500 book inventory, 30 seconds on each item would equate to 20.83 hours of just removing stickers! :rip:

Are more efficient methods known? Should I just stick the new label over the old one? Since the labels are a pain-in-the-ass to remove it would likely disintegrate the older sticker label behind it if someone tried to peel off with their nails.

Or what about using a sharpy to quickly write over the old label before putting on a new label? This would still take time but be more efficient.

Suggestions?

First off, I would not send all of that same inventory to a new stealth account as you will get immediately suspended/linked.

Second, I have had experience with just placing a label over the old one and it being fine. I've gotten products returned to me from Amazon and it having 3-4 labels over the original one I placed on there because they do their own relabeling/organizing on their side.

Period?

From my research, slowly introducing inventory to a stealth account at a ratio of 1:5 - 1:10 is the ideal way to prevent linkage.

For example, if I introduced 50 of my old inventory per day by FBA and 500 other asins for the 1:10 ratio as merchant fulfilled.

By no means does 550 asins per day seem "slowly", but I do not know what rate would be ideal as there does not seem to be a standard to work from.

What do you think?

From your post it sounded like you were just going to send all of the inventory straight back into FBA. I suggest doing 1:20 ratio, and so does the best Amazon account seller on the forum IMO (Elmo)

I will do this.

1:20 of 2500 (my inventory) is 50,000

At what rate should I introduce inventory to my account? I understand sales velocity can trigger a harmless account review (>$750 / mo for new sellers I believe), but does the amount of inventory or the rate at which you add potentially trigger account issues?

30 + 20:1 (600) per day?
50 + 20:1 (1050) per day?
100 + 20:1 (2010) per day?

Again, this is all FBA im sending back to Amazon a second time so I am at all costs trying to avoid linkage / suspension. If I do, I may suffer a catastrophic brain aneurysm and die or fly a plane in to Seller Performance HQ just like Andrew Joseph Stack III did the IRS (Just kidding, but not really) :surrender:
