Default Avoiding Velocity Limits

As we all know, velocity limits are a pita especially for new accounts. How do you guys avoid it. Do you either list less from the beginning or do you think it's a good idea to put all your listing in inactive status once you reached the critical point for that month? Because especially for holiday season listing less might not do the trick... Your opinions are much appreciated.

I have 2.4k product sales in 30 days on new account, Amazon has not opened their filthy whore mouth in objection... yet.

But I think in the holiday season there will be more scrutiny

I got $1K on my first month sale, no problem too. But it is mandatory for me to add a bank account during creation.

There's no way to avoid velocity reviews. They come from a combination of factors which no one knows. Most likely a combo of high volume + high risk products + lack of feedback

As long as you push your buyers to leave you feedback and get great remarks you should be fine.

makes sense... the question was more like: already sold for (way over) 500 $ after 14 days in the first month with no feedback. would you keep on selling or put the account on holiday?
