Amazon removed my ability to upload asins
 

I've been uploading roughly 550 asins per day and now have this ability limited from my account. The latest upload file states the following:

"We have temporarily removed your ability to submit listings (creating new offers or new ASINs) because an unusually high number of listings have been created from your account. Please refer to the ASIN Creation Policy page )for more information on how to avoid receiving this error message. If you believe your listing creation privileges have been removed in error, please contact Seller Support by using the following link."

I contacted Amazon and asked for a lift on my listing creation privileges.

If they lift the throttle should I continue at the current pace? I told them I have a very large amount of books to list on my account. I am not sure they would follow suit again and throttle my listing privileges or if by having a Amazon rep review and allow me to continue to do so this will increase my account velocity.

My ratio is 10:1 of ~2000 suspended inventory so Im shooting for a total of ~20,000 asins at 500:50 per day.

Thoughts?

get more accounts, spread it out.

550 asins a day is a lot...

I have a second account which is currently having acceptance issues with id (reason unknown) but once thats up I could get cut the asins in half so its 225 / day per account.

I have about 2400 products from my suspended account. Roughly 1400 asins.

My living room is currently a storage unit for all of them.

I could never figure out from any threads what rate is acceptable for inventory velocity but I just learned the hard way my rate is too quick but I am not sure if by responding to Amazon they will increase my limits or what. No idea.

Update: Seller Support says an internal team is "investigating" the issue. This means our favorite Amazon team is looking into my account! :humble:

I have been experiencing the same issue.

Did Amazon team lift the throttling limit for you or is there still a limit?


I am wondering if there is a way around this?

You have a weekly asin creation limit that isn't disclosed somehow. Try listing more next week and you should be fine.

I am quite surprised you could do 550 asins a day on a new account. usually the limit is 100 or 500 a week.
