Buybox
 

Have anyone noticed something weird with the buybox or is it just me. I have few stealth accounts with active listings. My price is the lowest on the listing with no buybox. Amazon prices 1 cent higher then me and has the buybox. Its happening on all my listings. Anyone have any ideas what going on?

It's down to your account and item you sell, sometime you need to reduce a lot to get buy box

When amazon is selling against you, you should take more price off to take the buybox back. Amazon is giving itself a lot of weight when it becomes seller. It is like if you ship by FBM, you need more price off to take the buybox from those FBA sellers, as they are paying amazon fee and getting more weight.

Its just kinda weird. Before when i sell 1 cent less then amazon i always get buybox but recently i cant get the buybox even with 1 cent cheaper. The products im selling is the same as before and same account, nothing changed

Then go a few cents lower.

On amazon even when you are $1 lower you won't always get the buybox. It also depends on the day. One time I was $5 cheaper and still didn't get the buybox for a day.

Did being $5 lower help your sales even without the box?

It helped a little bit, but the buy box certainly is king.
