amazon deleting product reviews
 

So I noticed that Amazon this month is deleting product reviews from many sellers in masses.

Anyone experiencing this and know what the solution is?

I know what they are doing, but they are also killing legitimate reviews.

So I wonder if there's a new thing we should be doing instead

It's not new this been going on since last year, it's only against un verified reviews not the verified which is legit

What was it like last year? Can you share with us?

And is it only this time of the year or was it all year round?

Last year was when they were cracking down on all of the pay-for-play reviews. Then the 'I was sent this item for free in exchange for an honest review of this item' method came about. Then they canned those reviews and people are still doing review groups/clubs to boost the rankings for their products and they are actively combating that and shutting stuff down.

I think it would be easy enough to catch these people, because they will typically be statistical outliers vs the # of 'normal' people that take the time to review X amount of products.

I feel that those people that got the item for free for 1 review are kinda shoddy.

is it all year round like this or is it usually around this time of the year , holiday season and such?

I'm basically looking for comparisons , since I wasn't active on AZ last year.
And I noticed that innocent reviews were also being canned.
