pay by invoice

In UK They are rolling out 'pay by invoice' for business buyers, the seller gets paid straight away, but the buyer has business terms.

Anyone experienced this as buyer or seller?

Questions are mainly;

What does the buyer see on invoice, re addresses etc

Does seller get to even know if someone is buying via 'pay by invoice'.

ok, so if you are not vat registered (eg. do not meet threshold) then does not apply?
