Buyer account purchase limit
 

At what point does amazon subject orders to more scrutiny and avs. I’ve placed orders from $0-750. My $750 orders prompt a phone call from customer service to verify. What order amount is safer?

I would like to know this too. Im not convinced its dollar amount.....if the order does not show a delivery date and it is considered a large amount then you know its gone to manual review....manual review is so stupid, its my info, comes from my computer/ip, but if I dont verify the phone call they block my account till I can fax id over.......

are you drop shipping or bulk ordering?

It depends on various factors. The bottom line amazon put these things in place to deter fraudulent purchases. I am not sure how the account was created.

A perfect example is the lock to your house. It deters the majority of people to enter your residences without permission.

@OP, you are making orders with a regular cc? Not gift cc?

@rsot the OP needs to give us more info. His post is a bit vague. So OP hopefully you post a little more info than you supplied.

I am using a bank issued debit card. I am bulk purchasing over quantity limits using multiple accounts. The cc and address remains the same.

I sometimes get manually reviewed if my order amount breaches a certain number but I haven’t been able to determine what that number is.

It depends on the aged of these accounts and track record of purchases. The only reason they are doing manual reviews because you triggering the system. I don't know how or what your ordering so its really hard to say. I would say your ordering items that high risk items and getting manual review.
