Amazon Pro Seller Account Suspended for Defect Rate
I have a pro account with thousands being held by Amazon for my order defect rate going over 1%.
I also now have my late shipment rate up high due to our order being held up in customs from China to our USA warehouse. Im not sure how I should handle this situation with the late shipments. Should i update customer and ask them to cancel if they do not want to wait? I do not want more order defects because my rate is just at 1.96%.
Any insight appreciated.

Amazon seems to be much harsher than Ebay. I don't sell on Amazon yet, but from what I googled it seems that Amazon will suspend an account that has a defect rate above 1%.
I suggest you give Amazon a call and talk with them. They must know best on how to get out of this situation.
