Amazon Tax Interview, Wondering if this would pass muster
 

I am considering applying for an EIN as a DBA but I am not sure if this is still considered a sole proprietorship to the IRS.

If I gave the name of my DBA "Doing Business As" as a company name to Amz during the tax interview with this EIN, would the IRS then give a no match because the IRS would need my REAL name to match or would the DBA name possibly pass because it would be included on the application form for the EIN under "Other (Specify)" ??

If I specify it as a DBA and include my DBA name would that come back as a match for the Amazon tax interview because that is what I filled in that field or would the IRS still automatically consider it a sole proprietorship?
