Help, linked accounts detected
I have been running two completely separate selling accounts on Amazon for probably over 3 years. One is the "main" account and the other is a secondary "backup" account. We do sell on the backup account just simply to have an extra account up and running.
Each account is associated with its own Tax ID, completely different computers, IPs and all that fun ghost stuff.
Our "backup" account received an email from Seller Performance yesterday that they believe this account is associated with our "Main Account" and that we are not allowed to do so. (They listed the "main" account name in the policy warning." They "suggested" that we close all of our listings since Amazon does not permit multiple seller accounts with our prior permission.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to response? My brother who is an attorney feels that we can make the approach that the secondary account is a completely different legal entity, different tax ID, different mailing address, etc...and is also an authorized distributor of the "main" accounts products....
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
TIA !
