Is selling/starting out on Amazon harder than on Ebay?
 

When you sign up on Ebay you start listing items and after a few days you get a few sales, you get some feedback and sales get better after a while (~30 days).


When one searches on Ebay, Ebay shows all listings that contain the searched keywords. However, Amazon only shows 20 pages regardless of the number of listings hosted on Amazon. Does that mean selling on Amazon is harder than on EB?


How was your experience getting to the first pages on Amazon?

I've always had a better experience on Amazon and my sales volume has always been 3-4x more than eBay. Its probably item/product specific though.

Agree with elmo Amazon is much batter then eBay, you need to learn a lot

Yes, selling on Amazon is a lot harder than eBay. It's a learning process and there's a lot of rules to be followed. But the reward is also bigger.

It's like shopping at saks 5th avenue vs Walmart.
