| JohnWall | 01-09-2018 06:46 AM | Inauthentic item suspension So I've had an account suspended due to Amazon suspecting the items are not authentic. I've contacted them to say I don't have the manufactures authorization they are after and they replied saying invoices would be sufficient. Does anyone know the best place to have the invoices from for electronic items, I was thinking a high street retailer like Tesco to play it safe? |

When suspended for Inauthentic complaints, they need INVOICES, not RECEIPTS. |

Although I’ve seen receipts work before, your best chances of getting reinstated is by using invoices that meet all the requirements that amazon likes to see |

Re: Inauthentic item suspension Accusation of items not being authentic is a heavy one to beat with Amazon regardless of proof submitted |
| quietstorm | 01-28-2018 09:18 PM | Re: Inauthentic item suspension I respectfully disagree -- You can get right through this I read this thread a few times and I can't seem to find what you actually do have. You claim to not have the rights of the manufacturer, but that does not mean you are in violation of Amazon policy. Inauthentic suspensions are challenging the chain of custody of the product you are selling. If you sell Gucci, you aren't going to send in a Gucci invoice. What Seller Performance agents are trained to do is to look at your invoice for various technical elements and then go to the manufacturer's website and cross reference the company that you have on your invoice with "approved vendors" or whatever they decide to call it. If you are making your own invoice, any of those will do. Just be sure to print the invoice you create and take a picture of it from a mobile device before sending to eliminate all metadata. |

| ma.tt | 01-29-2018 03:05 PM | Re: Inauthentic item suspension Hello.
We also got our selling privileges removed for selling items that according to Amazon may be inhautentic. No buyer or brand claims, they just wanted invoices for specific ASINs. We provided them a month ago, we got the message "we are reviewing your account" we will notify you when this is complete. I sent an email asking for updates and got the same message, I don't know how long will I need to wait for.. |

| alekov | 02-01-2018 11:45 AM | Re: Inauthentic item suspension I had an account suspended for 2 inauthentic recently. The complaints came 3 months apart, and I ignored them. (like a retard) They asked for invoices reflecting sales of those two ASINs for the last 365 days. I sent them store receipts. Didn't hear back for about 1 week, not even an email that they've received it. Got sick and tired of waiting and forwarded my message containing the receipts to the 5 emails floating around in case you don't hear back from them (merchant-approval@amazon.com seller-performance@amazon.com seller-performance-policy@amazon.com pq-offer-review@amazon.com jeff@amazon.com kubicki@amazon.com ) Next morning my account was reinstated... Hope this helps |

Ideally, whatever manufacturer's you were selling without their permission will have a "approved vendors" page. If they do, snag two companies and make some invoices up. Print the invoices and take a picture with a smart phone before uploading. If worst comes to worst and they do not have an approved vendor page, take an invoice that you already have from the most reputable electronics company that you buy from and add the items utilizing Adobe Acrobat. |

Quick question once I take pics on my phone is ok to send them to seller support from my phone using Gmail? Will they be able to see my IP? I use the phone as a Hotspot on another account. |
| quietstorm | 02-11-2018 12:36 AM | Re: Inauthentic item suspension Take the pics from your phone and email/upload them to your computer. Then, proceed as usual. The purpose of taking a picture with your phone is because within the EXIF metadata, giving the images a time stamp, geotagging them, showing the device information, and other core components of an image that Seller Performance's tool can rip in 5 seconds.
To be clear --> upload --> attach to poa --> send Quote:
