Selling priviliges have been removed.
An Amazon account was created back in 2017, but was never actually used to sell anything. One week after creating the account, selling privileges have been removed until identity verification process is complete. The account creator ignored the ID-Check requests and never logged into the account (In other words, the account was abandoned after Amazon requested ID documents).
Here is the e-mail from Amazon: Hello,
Your Amazon.co.uk seller account is under review. During our review, you will not be able to sell on Amazon.co.uk.
To sell on Amazon.co.uk, we need to verify your identity, business information, or both.
You can confirm that you would like to begin the verification process by contacting us using the following link: (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/cont...questions.html)
Please ship any open orders. If you have funds in your account, they will be available after any amounts paid for A-to-z claims or chargebacks on your orders have been deducted. This usually takes about 90 days, but funds may be held longer.
You can see your balance and settlement information in the Payments section of Seller Central. If you have questions about those, please send an email to payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Seller Performance Team
This account belongs to a friend of mine. I was given the access info and I could successfully sign in. However, there is a message popping up once I sign in asking me to send ID documents to Amazon in order to be able to sell again.
I wrote an e-mail to Amazon yesterday and got an answer almost immediately (I guess it was automated though because I sent the message in English and got a reply in German). I asked them in the e-mail if I could close down the account and register a new one later. Their answer was:
"Once a seller loses his/her selling privileges, the account gets closed automatically"
Do you think the name and address that were used to create this account are burned? The account was never used to list anything though. It was merely a registration attempt that ended with the account getting restricted due to uncompleted identity verification process. It is important to keep in mind that they never sent an e-mail stating that the account's holder may no longer sell on Amazon!
What do you think of this guys? |
