Using vacation mode leading to ID check?
 

Hello.

Someone on the Seller Forums made a comment that putting your Amazon account on vacation mode triggers an ID check when you come back out of it. Has anyone experienced this? Has anyone used vacation mode recently and NOT experienced it?

I have no idea as to the validity of this claim and would like to settle the possibility before leaving if possible.

ID request will happen when you register as individual, pro, or when you upgrade individual to pro. I don't think vacation time has anything to do with it

i use vacation mode at least 8 times a year. Never once have i been asked for ID when i remove vacation mode.

What sucks about AMZ vacation mode compared to Ebay is you can still see and sell from your ebay listing on vacation. AMZ completely removes them from search.

I sure hope not! Amazon ID verification has gotten much more strict compared to not even 4 months ago. There are accounts if reverified for ID I know would not pass.
