Amazon gift card question
 

I'm not using Amazon seller platform and I don't sell anything on Amazon nor do I use amazon affiliate. I think I have around 20$ on amazon affiliate that I never cashed out but I wanted to ask about Amazon gift card.

Every now and then I would get like 400$ payment in amazon gift card where I would use the code to redeem onto my acc. I've accumlated quite a bit of balance over the years. Will Amazon report my gift card balance to government?

I don't think so, but maybe ask an accountant to be sure

Yes, now they are reporting and issuing w8 and all the crap, you can change you addrss to a non US address and report that you are a non us person, that will do. Acc settings > tax info in https://affiliate-program.amazon.com
