Does Amazon allows you to sell again if you appeal?

I just appeal to Amazon.

I had only two negative feedbacks and they suspended my account. Claiming I had a low performance.

Any body had this problem?

Does it help to appeal?

It really sucks to put a hold on my money for 90 days. I need to pay back for the items I bought with my credit card.

In my experience with an appeal they generally do allow you back on after the first suspension as long as there's not any type of fraud involved. You respond to the email, professionally, outlining a new "business plan" telling them what you're going to change and how you're going to fix the issues that caused the negs. and low performance.

If they reinstate you, do everything that you can to avoid any more negs for awhile, you don't get another chance after the first reinstatement. Maybe, discontinue selling the items that cause a large amount if negs., ship quickly, pack well and send a thank you note in your packages with a phone number for customers to reach you.

Thank you. Hopefully they will.

I am really serious about selling online.

"The customer is always right" is a really hard for me. I guess I have to accept it and count it as part of business loss.

I think that selling on Amazon, outside of the safer categories like books, is somewhat of a crap shoot.

You can be the best seller and have the best customer service on the planet, still get untimely negs., and Amazon will give you the boot. I think the only people that may have some clout with Amazon are sellers that already have large sites and retail chains.

I started back on Amazon and started a stand alone website two months ago. It took about a month for my website products to start showing well in Google rankings. I've sold half of the amount that I've sold on Amazon the past month. Not bad...no fees and no stress about when someone else is going to close down my business.

Now, I'm completely focused on building website and use eBay and Amazon as secondary accounts.

You are using Amazon as your website provider?

Alanc 06-14-2009 09:00 AM

No. If you mean a WebStore by Amazon, I imagine that they shut that down too if they close your Amazon seller account.

Do you get low sales on amazon for low feeback?

ovidiu 06-25-2009 11:11 PM

They let me back on...maybe a strongly worded protest wouldn't hurt. I get the impression it won't mean too much if you've only been on there a month anyway. On feedback, I think Amazon cares about that more than buyers do.

Is it me or Summer sales are low?
