What happens when you ignore Amazon UK doc request?
 

I've used only half of the GBP15,000 quota, and the doc request kicked in.

My question is:

What will happen if I ignore the warning and keep selling? Can I still sell (and receive payment for) an additional GBP7,000 worth of items? Or is full suspension already imminent and thus I need to stop selling on this account immediately?

The warning banner says:"Additional information is required to open your Selling on Amazon payment account. Please provide the requested information immediately. "

Have several US amazon accounts which are individuals , i've used the W8** form (not Us citizen), i've sold over $50,000 on a few of them, and they never told me to upgrade to pro or additional seller identification. (limit i believe is normally $15,,000) so hmm..

If I can do that for amazon US, doesn't amazon UK have an option to state you're not a british citizen and file some other form?

p.s. please note, those accounts are only a few months old. Do they check annually? hmm, don't know

Thanks. Amazon UK is a very different animal. The KYC regulation adopted in Europe is making passing review very difficult.

You need to provide documents and let me think 🤔 if you don’t then of course you’ll get suspended.

I can't provide the doc, period.

My question is: when will the suspension occur (I received doc request last week)? And before it occurs, can I still use the account to make additional sales?

If you can't provide the docs then you should stop sales immediately and get a new account. It's not worth the risk considering how easy Amazon UK accounts are to open.

Are you making these accounts or purchasing them?


Why did you pick the UK platform?

I would not be preapred to say go on selling in case you get the dreaded suspension and amazon retainsyour funds.
