Amazon Ghost - VPN to cover IP/MAC?
 

Hello all -

I purchased and read through the Amazon Ghost guide. I wanted to verify with the community that my computer will be good to go for a new Amazon account after I was recently suspended.

I will be doing the following on my computers:

Home PC - Reinstalling a fresh copy of Windows.
Laptop (Mac) - Installed Boot camp with a fresh windows copy on the 2nd partition of the HD.

With new windows copies, I then wanted to verify that if I log on to my new Amazon account with a VPN from my area/region, it will cover my IP address and my MAC address, so I should be good to go.

Is the VPN information accurate?

Also, what is the best VPN service I should use?

I just want to make sure I don't need a new router or wireless cell gateway.

You don't need a new MAC address, Amazon can't see it. Guide is wrong at this.

You can either reinstall windows or get VMware or Virtualbox (which is better if you plan to make more than 1 account).

You'll need a VPN service that gives you a fresh IP, so forget about thiose 5-bucks-a-month VPN providers. Try 24vc or ipburger.

So VirtualBox is the way to go if I am going to be running multiple accounts?

I am only going to be doing one account, but for whatever reason, if I get banned again, I want to keep my OG windows protected from amazon.


IPBurger looks great, so essentially, do IPBurger + VirtualBox, and I am good to go?

Can I use the same IPBurger IP address for my home desktop AND my laptop? I plan to be working from the road quite a bit.

You really should be thinking of running multiple accounts or at least have some backups. You may think that 1 account is enough, it isn't.....if that were true, this forum wouldn't exist.

Exactly. new amazon store = dedicated laptop + IP, or virtual machine + IP
