I got small items too, and most of the time I don't want buyers to send the stuff back, I'll just send them the refund... except one really pisses me off, the I make him walk to the post office even if it costs me.
However I don't do auto accept, because oftentimes the situation can be cleared with the customer, so I'll write em a (standard) message first. If customer is of the mentally challenged kind who doesn't read his emails within two days time i'll just refund him after 48 hours to prevent A-Z from happening.
