Should I upgrade to a business account?
 

I currently have one experienced and tax verified account, plus 4 newer accounts that I'm trying to slowly build up. They are all personal accounts and I would like to have one business account. The main account is the only one that's selling enough items to be worth it. My main concern with this is triggering document verification. I would hate to mess up my one good account by trying to upgrade it. My items have no problem selling under existing product pages. The only reason that I really want a business account is for the occasional item that does not have an existing listing. Other than that, I don't really need it. Is it worth the risk, or is there not really a risk? Thoughts?

Also, it seems like there may be a rule, like a yearly limit that you can sell as an individual before they make you upgrade. Is this true or am I remembering wrong?

It's deepeds how much you selling on New accounts

These must has 15k limit but they normally ask doc after 5 or 6k and they also force you to upgrade

Are you ssying that there is a 15k limit on an individual seller account, and then they force you to upgrade to PRO?

I would keep things as is if they're running smoothly

You may be requested verification documents if you upgrade, or you may not

If the only reason you want to upgrade is to create a listing page for 1 product, I would avoid it.

Yeah, I was just wanting experienced thoughts. Unless someone convinces me otherwise, I'll probably hold off until I get a few more accounts built u;p an upgrade one of those.

Well, I might be wrong, but I really don't see any benefit upgrading to business account. Except you could offer discount coupons on yor listing. What else ?
offering coupons is really not benefit to sellers ... don't know what's on AMAZON's mind ?

Why not just go with one of the sellers on this forum, they’ll provide docs and it’ll be like an actual legit account. In all fairness my account that I made in 2016 legit account tho I must say, they never asked for any info, so not sure if they care

Does U.S individual seller account still have a 50 sale limit before they ask for tax id? What is the point of that, why not go pro?

The account is already tax verified. And this is why I'm asking. That is my question- "Why not go pro?"

A business account is just a pro account that has there business data for buyers to view and can accept bids on high qty orders.

How do you have so many verified tax accounts? Are they ssn or ein?

You can have many EIN under one umbrella

I only have one tax verified account. If I had more, it would be by getting more EINs

This is what I dont understand...so non verified account is limited to 50 transactions before amazon ask for tax info?

Yes, I believe that they require tax info once you hit 50 sales in a year

Again, I only have one tax verified account. But, you can only get one EIN as a person. You have to open an LLC and get an EIN with that to have a second EIN
