Can't edit a listing suddenly
 

I posted a listing /. ASIN after getting the approval from the electronics category 6 months ago.

Last week when I tried to edit the title, it took me to a page where it says I am not approved to list in this category.

(the listing is still active and selling)

So I contacted that dept again and they said it's already approved and active and there's nothing else that needs to be done but I still can't edit it.

It's been going on for a week now.

Have you guys seen this before?

So the issue is you can't edit the listing?

You still selling this item right?

If you unable to edit through edit option then you need to open case to seller support by going to contact us page then changes to details page etc and enter asin then it will ask you to select what you like to change

Select title and change it and submit

It normally automatically approve if not then this will refer to ss and they will update for you

They may require proof of changes

anyone else had this issue before?

Again, when I clicked on edit, it says I'm not approved to list in this product classification.
THe item is still live and selling too and even the compliance team said it's been verified and approved

Compliance or seller support said this?
Have you tired the above method I mentioned to update the title?

As I mentioned above... COMPLIANCE said it was verified and approved long time ago. 3x

Yes, seller support can't do anything right now to change / edit the title for me.

I'm just trying to figure out what is causing this.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous, I can't get this listing ASIN fixed even after they said there's nothing else to fix when there is...

I didnt have the exact issue, but when I couldnt edit a listing, or it wouldnt take effect, I message seller support and they take care of the edits for me. Just tell them exactly what you need changed.

Yea well I don't want to have to keep calling them. PLus I already tried. They can't even do it .

Try making listing on another account and just list on there asin ? Electronics should be easy to get into.

You mean Hijack a listing? I don't like doing that... plus I'm the manufacturer

If you tried to add another condition? I have had this issue and its because Amazon gated a sub cat and I could never edit listings. If Amazon is saying there is nothing on there end then you'll need to keep pushing so the right person looks into it

Why not change category to like office supply or something.
