Amazon bank statement name
 

So like an idiot (I blame it on it being Sunday morning here in the UK lol) I've submitted a bank statement to Amazon in the personal name not the business name. They've replied telling me it needs to be the business name.

Has anyone done this before? I surely can't be the first. Surely it's going to raise flags if I resubmit it with the correct name.

Also, I have a disbursement on the way for just under £5k. Weirdly the payments report page tells me it's going to disburse on the 17th not the usual 3-5 days to clear message. As I'm not suspended on this account (status still says the account is active and I'm able to list items) this disbursement shouldn't be effected and I'll still receive it? Just bemused about the message stating it will be sent on the 17th.

Can only really think of two solutions, send in a revised statement and hope for the best or email them saying I was using a personal bank account then send a statement for the business.

Not really fussed about saving the account just want the disbursement. Creating accounts is easy and I only do OA so feedback doesn't come into the equation.

As I said worth trying it and if they findout doc is ○○○○○ they may not release funds even after 90 days

I done this mistake many years ago and they did accepted the same account details with business name so worth trying it

Why not just run to any bank close to you and open another personal account? Then take the statement from that one and rework it to your Business Name? That way it looks like you accidentally sent them your personal bank account info instead of your Business Bank Account, and consequently you sent the right Bank Statement? I don't see how they can suspend you for something like that. Just disburse all future money in the new bank account. You are allowed to change your bank accounts after all... Better than trying to say that you converted same bank account to Business Account which I'm not sure wouldn't fly either as I think it's possible to convert personal bank account to business bank account without changing the routing/account numbers. (at least here in the USA)

No I have never done this , but the Question is, what name did you use on the bank account attached ? is it your personal name? or did you mismatch and use your business name?

If the account attached is already in your business name then I don't really see a way out of this one.

I completely disagree with this statement. These days secure Amazon accounts with the ability pass 15k review Are difficult to stealth.

Could always say you had bank reissue it. IMO i would wait till that deposit clears before i send them anything else.

Yes this is my main concern really, got a feeling they deposit will end up back in my Amazon account.

If you have a business bank account you can sometimes have your personal name show up on the statement

I don't see why you couldn't re-submit another bank statement with your business name on there and your personal name underneath it -- just tell them you asked your bank to print it out this way

Amazon don't seem to know their arsehole from their ear hole!

So I've resubmitted the same bank statement with the store name instead of personal name, claiming the bank have amended it for me. They have accepted it but now asking the relation to the business on the bank statement to the person the Amazon account is under. Turns out it is a personal account like I though NOT a business account as the first person reviewing my bank statement though!

so you sent statement on store name? dont tell me store name not business name since both are different

store name can be anything xyz and business name is legal thing which can be same but not necessary

relation to the business? so you sent statement with personal name aswell as business name?

It was set up as an individual account so when they asked for the statement I sent them a personal one. They rejected it claiming it was a business account so they required the name on the statement to match. I amended it, resubmitted it and it was accepted. They are now asking me to clarify the relationship between the Amazon account and the business on the bank statement.

seems you need to learn lot more,

whatever you been doing its wrong

when they said they need business bank statement they meant on business name whatever you entered when you created account, this can be your own name

Got this bit sorted but now they want a HMRC document which I don't have a template for. Anyone able to help out with this for a reasonable price?

yes goto marketplace and most importantly make sure UTR match the formula or they will close the account

7 days since the disbursement was apparently sent to my account yet still not arrieved.... aint looking good.

I've not submitted a letter yet. The disbursement was manually requested last week just after they requested the bank statement
