Negative Balance -- How Long Before Amazon Shuts Me Down?
 

I have an account with both US and Canada selling. Long story short:

1. I have negative balance on US account, due to a nasty scammer buyer. The credit card on file rejected Amazon's charge attempt (good anti-fraud feature!), and will keep doing so until I call the credit card company to give permission.
2. I have balance on Canada account, all of which will be disbursed in two weeks.

Ideally, I want to get my CAD balance in two weeks, and abandon this account (including US and Canada) altogether.

Will this plan work? Or would Amazon shut down both my US and Canada accounts in a few days?

if your card gets rejected the US account will simply attempt to charge on the next payment cycle. Should have a few weeks, I've had it bounce several weeks without suspending my account.

This sounds really fishy... amazon doesn't mess around tho... why not getting things straightened out ?
