Amazon FBA averaging box weight
 

Anyone else here calculate the average weight and use this for box weight when shipping goods to FBA?

For example if you have 3500 LB's of boxes (50 boxes) and the weight can range between 43 - 50 lb, would there be issues if you avg'ed it out to the mean weight such as 47.5lb? Or are there strict weight restrictions like this and they check? Saves a ton of time if you do.

Once I weigh a box and according to FBA it weighed more than what was stated. Ever since I've been very accurate. It's a total pain in the rear.

They want you to be perfect, but they F up so much.

I've always just gone with average more or less. They dont really care. The only point of concern is if they loose your parcels, but even that is based on your total shipment weight, and not per carton weight.
