Amazon being stricter

Anyone noticed Amazon being stricter these past couple of months?

Lots of glitches,
Disappearing reviews
Disappearing active asin pages

Specially it looks like their bots are deleting a BUNCH of legitimate reviews EVEN from amazon's own asins like the firetv, echo etc.

It's driving me and my competitors nuts.

Not so much, but one thing I just experienced is it looks like Amazon has received double the FBA inventory then they actually should for an ASIN as I can see in seller central which does not make sense. The double inv is applied for another SKU for the same ASIN. What in the world did they scan or have deemed this supposed extra inventory? Makes absolutely no sense yet here is shows in my inventory tab. I just dont want Amazon's screwup to make customers angry if they get sent the wrong item.

Yes in UK seems normal but I have close friend in Canada he had lot of these issues recently where pages are disappeared and after opening cases with seller support they advised it's been removed by Amazon

Asin still active in seller centre and no warning message

Oh, seller support said it was removed??That's odd. That really doesn't make sense.

Do you know if his items are ok? As in not infringing in any kind?

I know that they are rolling out a Beta program that is being implemented.
According to some of the victims (sellers), it's causing havoc and glitches throughout the entire site.

For me right now the biggest problem is they are deleting my reviews little by little. I called them and they have no solution of course.

Reviews are getting knocked off - this has been in the "news" for a few weeks now - due to amazon getting stricter, so its pretty old by now.

For product catalogs being removed, we've seen it in our niche - so it may be category dependent. The more general restrictions a category of product has, the more likely it's getting noticed and more easily triggered.

They are definitely clearing stuff up from where we operate.

Re: Amazon being stricter

I wonder if this review purge is forever, if so it won't be sustainable for sellers to stay on Amazon.

I believe a few years ago they did something like this and they stopped because the community was really pissed.

Deleting legitimate reviews that we worked hard for is a big no no
