Removal Order on an account that owes money
 

I have an old amazon account that I just found out still has some inventory in it, but it's accrued $1000 in fees and I no longer use that account.

The inventory is worth less than the fees owed but I'd like to get it back, but I don't even know how the fees got that high and they won't explain so I don't want to pay them.

Is there a way of getting my inventory back without giving in on the fees?

If Amazon didnt limit you on creating removals then it will just be added to your fees. If any information on that account links back to you don't be surprised if Amazon tries to get creditors after you if you dont plan to pay.

I remember I was in a similar situation a while ago and Amazon required a valid charge method before making the removal so there was no way escaping the outstanding fees.
