Amazon asking for documents

Just opened new Amazon stealth account. Never listed anything. suspended it and are asking for documents such as utility bill, invoices, business license.

I've never had this happen before. Are they doing this to all new accounts now or did something flag it.

Any advice how to handle it?

Also, is it easier to set up accounts outside the U.S. to sell on U.S amazon?

It's fairly common for Amazon to do that.

What variety of documents do Amazon accept for business license? I remember reading somewhere on the forum, probably by elmo, that they accept a few different kinds of docs for proving your business.

I need to provide some sort of utility bill, and invoices, the business license is optional.
Its stealth account. Do they verify the proof?

In my experience no, but everything needs to be 100% the same as the account or they'll reject it

Its common to be requested documents.

The most common are driver license and bank statement for registering a pro store
