new amazon and card validation?!?!
 

Hi everyone,

I cannot for the life of me get my new amaonz account validated.
I have used 2 real debit cards and called them. But they say i need a credit card....

Does anyone have any idea how to get round this or if there any VCC i can buy?

Basically makes it impossible to create an amazon account..?

If I make a new account on a Different Wi-Fi and then bring my computer to my house where the account was banned will my new account get band

Is there funds available on the debit card?

If there is try logging into the co.uk shopping site (not seller central), go into payment options & remove the saved cards. Then log back in to seller central & add the card again.

There shouldn't be a problem with a debit card. All of mine are debit

Have you tried adding your own cards? If you tried one bank card, try a different bank card.

paysera issues a visa debit card with their accounts , they should work good , also leupay was releasing cards which works with the US amazon .

you can check if your cards are prepaid or not using a website called binlist.net , enter the the 8 digits of your card ( not the full number ) and it will give you the full details about your card .

thnaks everyone, i purchased a VCC fomr the forum, but yet it still does not work.
It just comes up with a message saying the following:
"Problem with your Seller Account

You’re currently unable to add or edit listings because either the credit card on file is invalid or the credit card is in the process of validating, which typically takes an hour (but could take up to 24 hours). Please ensure that you have valid credit card uploaded in Account Settings.
Return to your Seller Account"

I cannot get passed this... i use to make stealth amazon accs without any issues but now i cannot get this account to be able to list. Everything else is verfieid and reasdy to go, just the card. I have tried debti cards with money on them, and the VCC fomr this forum, yet nothing works and i do not know why....

any ideas?? thank you

Is this a UK amazon account with UK information?

Try a different bank issued card of yours that is active, has enough balance, and has never been used before

What could be happening is you have a negative balance they are trying to charge your card with and the cards you're adding may not have enough balance

i have tried a real debit card x 3. A credit card VCC from this forum, all with enough balance, and my seller account balance is $0 as this account has never been able to list anything.

It just simply does not work. Im trying to list and register on amazon.com but with a spanish address etc... usually always woprks without any issues...

Some of the cc holdups require you to message amazon after you updated the card to let them know and someone from amazons end will push it through.Sometimes they update automatically with out the need to do so.Did you get a notice of some sought?Also you shouldnt use foriegn addresses with amazon.com any more,they make accounts registered like that alot more difficult with certain functions of the account including verifications.

Do you have a credit card? Try that.

If it still doesn't work, odds are Amazon have restricted the account.

When restricted, you cannot add any cards, thus cannot pay fees, nor list.

It is a brand new account. 0$ owed. I can add the card successfully, but everytime I try to list a product I get hit with this message.

No matter what card?

I tried 4 cards, all perfect working cards with credit on every one. 3 from real banks...

Would appreciate anyones input as this is really starting to bug me!

I have seen something similar to this before ,its a glitch that only technical support can fix.But its a pain in the butt to get connected to them because amazon seller support are a bunch of clueless idiots who dont know anything about the site.You just have to insist they send this issue to tech support .

Have you received an email from amazon like:

Dear Seller,

As you requested, the credit card information associated with your seller account for Amazon.co.uk has been updated. Future account charges will be made to this credit card.


If yes, then log out from your account, clear your cookies, wait couple of hours and then log back to your account, it may fix your issue.
