Yes, amazon tracks both the mac address and ip address, so making a new account on the same device will get you banned. Also, connecting to a new account using the same home wifi will also get you banned.

Why don't you read the ghost guide +/- forum posts for answers. It's tricky but you need a LOT of new steps

Sadly, that info about the mac address being tracked is wrong :( many posts in this forum have discussed this.

The guide is good but could be slightly outdated with all kinds of Amazon new stronger procedures kicking in these days, unfortunately.

You cannot reuse the same IP or you will get linked

You need a new IP address and a system either virtual machine or new laptop
