| agray34 | 07-20-2018 06:44 PM | Ridiculous suspension on sellers account We have had a legitimate sellers account on Amazon for close to 6 years. We have NEVER had a policy violation of any type, ever.
Two weeks ago, Amazon asked us for a copy of an invoice. We provided them with a copy of the invoice from the OEM supplier.
We than received an email that our selling privileges have been removed because they believe we manipulated an invoice.
I went to our supplier, they confirmed that they received a call from Amazon and really could not understand the caller because of their poor English skills. The day after their phone call is when we received our suspension.
Since than, we have had the supplier send an email to seller-performance-policy from their official email address stating that we are an authorized distributor and did purchase the products from them.
I am about ready to submit our appeal, but have conflicting information.
Should it be short and sweet, refer to the suppliers email they sent directly to Amazon and also include it in our appeal.
The other approach is a two page Plan of Action addressing it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Its unfortunate that Amazon does not value their third party merchant enough to even remotely try to address an issue before someone in Bangladesh can suspend you 7 figure selling account, from their couch... |

If that doesn’t work. Write a carefully worded letter to jeff without it being too long. I’m sure your account will be reinstated. So breathe easy. Best of luck. |

Then I kindly request someone who’s English is a first language over look this case. The email is intercepted by bots I believe as most times even after a denial I get a reply that someone will look into the matter and then I do finally get someone in the states. If that fails. Then use jeff. But don’t exhaust that until you need to. |

Also, make all correspondences with Amazon or any appeal as short and sweet as possible. Sending a 2 page response may be greeted with a decline.
May I ask what category of items this invoice pertains to? |

Just from my experience, your dealing with someone in a 3rd world country on their couch. One of my co-workers used to do basic amazon customer service, worked from home on his couch.
If the event that an appeal fails, has anyone ever tried certified mail of their appeal to amazons corporate address or even having an agent deliver it in person? |

Keep it short and simple and address all the issues. As long as you have a legit supplier that is backing you up, you should have no issue getting reinstated |

A few replies usually get it done and was fairly straight forward throughout 2017 and into early 2018 when faced with these exact issues. But amz is getting ridiculously ban-button-happy. I'd be interested to see how yours go, though i'd start making backup plans if i were you... |

Give them a few more days and try reaching out again
If you cannot get help via the seller email, give the jeff one a try.
I cannot see you being permanently suspended for this |

A supplier did not verify an invoice out of concern that a random person was calling. We than had a letter from our supplier which we included that stated we are authorized to sell the brand. Once it his Jeff escalations, they turned it back on without any explanation besides "you may now sell on amazon again" |
