Selling iPhone cases is now prohibited?
 

Hello,
I tried to list custom iphone cases, the listing showed active but when I clicked it showed a Dog page (not found page). I tried both listing them manually and via excel inventory template but still the same. Last year I can list them easily without this issue. Does anyone know if this product is restricted by Amz now and what I should do to list them?

It's a clear iphone case with a funny quote on it. I tried other quote and mockup but still got the same issue. I checked and it's not trademark or copyright related. :noidea:

Phone cases are now regulated and I'm not sure if you have a USA account or else, but in some countries dog pages mean that they aren't allowing you to sell it.

Is this an amazon ghost account with an IPburger VPN?

Amazon cracking down on knockoffs. It doesn't matter what you put on the case. The case itself is the violation.

The days of selling cheap china knockoffs are coming to an end on Amazon.

Thank you ! I have an USA account, I've been selling on this account for over 3 years with good performance metrics. I'm just wondering if iphone case are not allowed anymore because I can't find any document told it's restricted, also I can see other people still selling it normally.

Have you tried listing your own branded products?

or are these generic no brand cases?

It's in a restricted category. You need to get permission to sell them.

I'm not sure what kind of VPN you are using but if they know you are not in USA, the likeliness you got the dog page is because of that. USA gets certain favoritism

Thank you, I'm just confused because it don't have a button to apply for selling permission like other category.
I've never heard about the USA IP address favoritism, could you please advise me some examples of favoritism they have? such as listing this iphone case..?

Yes I tried but there was no luck. It's my private label product with my own design.

Maybe register it to a ASIN or so - lot of research to be done?

Well some countries are banned from selling certain items and it's hard to tell which is which.

A lot of times it's trial and error
