Can AMZ see deleted listings
 

Can AMZ look up your deleted listings? I know from ebay once your listings are deleted reps can't view them afterwards. Is this the same for amazon?

Yes... absolutely... they are the Omni God of their domain and they can ABSOLUTELY see it. Don't let SS tell you otherwise.

Was selling products that required a set of registration numbers to meet policy. The deleted listings had pictures without the required reg numbers.

Needing to cook up an appeal and avoid any discrepancies i.e. claiming the photos had the required reg. numbers when they did not. Would be relying on the PC team's inability to view deleted photos so they couldn't say I did otherwise.

I see. To be exact, I believe it's the catalog team and higher than can view deleted ASINs.

The lower SS team perhaps don't, but with amazon and the way they change a lot, I'd err on the hard side

Account has 0 actual Product Policy Compliance complaints under account health.... specifically "Listing Policy Violations" is a 0. It was suspended, though.

Was sent one of those 'product does not meet policy, please add additional info or take it down' messages and deleted those listings shortly after. Next 24hrs the account was suspended.

The account has accumulated a couple duplicate policy warning messages for the same products relisted with different keywords over time. They were all deleted after the messages came so I think that avoided the listing policy violation strikes.

Guess what I am getting at is might repeat warning messages sink an account with 0 actual policy violations? Do they want to see in the appeal the new listings will conform to policy and the account might be reinstated?

You can try making a new ASIN that conforms to the policy.

About the health of account, only time will tell. It's too vague right now.

So delete the old asin if it's empty and no good and start with a new one.

Will do. Agree a couple passing days will either show the policy violation strike under account health or not... for now it is just policy warning messages...

Severely hoping all they want to see in the appeal I send them is that all the new listings will have the required reg numbers and listing privileges will be reinstated. :pry:

IMO anything/everything/history listed on stores can be most likely retrieved. Its all saved somewhere

Fark... So you say 'but the listings did have the required info' then they'll look it up somewhere and see you're a liar. Will probably write you and your appeal off at that point :rip::rip::rip:

they have all track records , even if your listing is deleted you can get it back , depends why it was deleted

Given how strict their policies are with IP rights, UAs and copyright it's making more sense they'd have record of deleted listings for prosecution purposes. Imagine they'd expire over a given amount of time.
