New Amazon Account - ID, Utility Bill, Etc Verification
 

I have a simple question for those that might have experience, does Amazon actually verify what you send them? I've seen people offer to make false IDs etc. Do these IDs actually get checked against government records? Does Amazon actually check that a utility bill is valid? I want to open a new amazon account and understand what it entails, but I don't want to get nabbed for something stupid like forgery. Any thoughts?

Amazon does check the validation of the IDs. Also, even if your ID is Real and Valid, Amazon often reject them since Amazon Team is lazy and don't even bother going through carefully with the docs.

They do check , but not the way you think , they can only tell if it's ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or not by looking at the document they have , so if the document looks real then it's real , they don't have governmental records ( maybe they have it for US citizens though i doubt they can do such thing ) and they're not allowed to get such info , in addition it's impossible to do such thing , they're still a company and not an authority , and legally they're not responsible for what you've submitted to them if it doesn't look really ⊗⊗⊗⊗ to the eye , as they've did their best , all what they should do is to close the account .

On the other hand , forging a document is considered a crime if you're using it for official use in the country you live in .

To keep it simple, Amazon can view what you can view.
They have no access to government detail or records, that's private information.

How many times are you able to send them your ID informations? I send them my real ID and they can't verify it. TF is going on.

That's weird. Maybe try a different image? Or perhaps a scan off of a flat bed scanner?

If you have given them a copy of your passport, try send them in a copy of your driver's license or another type of ID. You could also try scanning it.

I used a flat bed scanner. But is it possible to send them the things more often or will they block you then? They are so stupid to verify ID's

They probably have some way of validating information, but they are not doing it 100% of the time, otherwise stealth accounts would not be possible.

They don't validate anything.

As with Paypal, some reps are better at spotting artistic license than others are.
